Hey,

As a quite recent user of the IBF and also new in Ireland I occasionnaly find it not that easy to try to know where some membres are located...

And as I'm a bit of a geek I thought about Frappr.

WTF is Frappr ?

Well, you probably know Google Earth.
Frappr is a website using Google Earth map database and allowing people to place a marker on a map corresponding the any place they want.
Here for exemple: the town where you live

I've created a IBF group on the frappr website.
it is not a public group ( since I should have consulted Matt about that.... but I tend to do before to think...)

So here we are: The IBF Frappr group webpage.

I've already added a marker for myself.
Adding a marker is not moderated and should not require you to create any account.

Just fell free to add or not a marker corresponding to your location.

And I think we could use it to note points of interest: dangerous spots, nice roads, meeting points, etc....

I hope you'll like the initiative, now it's time to go to bed

Worked OK for me - just added my general location.
