Due to the public nature of the Internet all information should be considered publicly accessible and important or private information should be treated carefully. Such information may include personal contact details, name, address, phone number, email address etc.

For example, if you post your phone number on the board, you run the risk that someone will use your number to make nuisance calls. Or they may post your phone number to another internet site and you may receive unwanted calls etc. This board is available to be read by anyone on the internet - not just members.

However, members are reminded of the Private Message facility which is available only to registered members of IBF.
