Thanks to Raphael for authoring this useful guide to the forums on IBF:
We've seen lots of new members recently and it is great to "see" lots of new faces. New blood is good!
IBF is mainly a forum about bikes, all sort of bikes (Street, Sports & Tourers, Cruisers & Classics, Adventure, Trailies & Off-Road, Streetfighters, Scooters, Mini Moto's, Hybrid & Concept Bikes). Here, you can get help on any mechanical problems you might have, you can get feedback on your next toy or learn more about bike gear or accessories you would like to buy. You can also find lots of information on the rules of the road or how to become a better biker. You can report any issues you might see on our roads. If you want to meet other fellow IBFer, you can keep an eye on the social events or the many rideouts organised.
Sometime, you feel like talking about something else than biking... again there are sections for this, for example you heard a good joke or you have some troubles with your computer and you need help. IBF is here for you so if you have any comments, feel free to share!
Obviously, there are many more sections on IBF and surely many will catch your interest but remember you must respect the board guidelines if you are posting on the forum but also in the classifieds or the live chat.
So the first thing you should do once you have registered is read, read, read...(the board guidelines, each forum charters, the FAQs,...). Then, you can tell us about you.
Before asking for something, try to search if this hasn't came up before; that will be quicker than waiting for an answer. there is a search menu but you can also use Google to search on IBF.
The last thing, if you like IBF and want to help, you can make a donation and become a supporter.
Welcome and enjoy!
