Hi lads,
I finally got my TDR125. We brought her home on a trailer cause as most of you know, she needs a bit of work. But as long I get some crack doing it up with my Dad and save a few shillins' , i'm happy!

best wishes mate, its a cracking looking frame, honest to god, when you see them stripped like that, the potential is unreal looking. enjoy the spanner time with your dad. wish me and mine had something like that to while away the hours......

please make a log of it if you have time, if only a mini one be great to see your progress, especially you being a "new boy" and all

I have often tried to take pics of various things - but other stuff got in the way - and the pics stay stuck in the camera !

oh dont you worry, logs will be kept. i'd love to bore the lot of yez with them aswell so be prepared
ATM, im looking for the best place to buy tyres and, after someone said [dont remember who ] new front handlebars. I know they are the last thing on the list as to what i should be putting my money into but i want to have every part that i want to get on a list so I can start savin Any ideas?

Well lads. just thought i'd make a post about how we are gettin on.
Aas most of yez know, the engine for me bike came in a box. To rectify a noise problem, the dad decided to put her together and see exactly where the noise is coming from (some trick with a plank of wood!) . We nearly have her completely set to be put onto the frame of the bike. We are in the process of sorting out the torque on the center clutch nut.

I'm gonna be buzzin up the estate street as soon as i hear that engine purr... Cnt wait!!

Yep, we have all the bits.
When we we're lookin at them in the box, we noticed that the casing for the clutch was damaged and there was a replacement one there aswell. We reckon that could have been the problem; the noise could have been coming from one of the bits that broke in it and it was moving so fast that it was making noise... So we may not have to buy anything!! that would be great!

We'l know in the next week anyway. Im having problems gettin the father off his arse and out of work atm though lol.

Sure blakestown is only down the road from your house rubberbullet. Head up towards blanch, take that sharp sliproad off the dual carriageway (you know the one that is a 90 degree to the left with an island in front of you followed by a right turn near the industrial estate entrance?) then head down that road until you come to another junction (right where they do car washes on your right) turn right here and head up to the next roundabout and drive straight through it...iggy in blakestown motorcycles is up the road on your right...you'll have to keep your eyes peeled, he's hidden out the back of some other buildings but you should see the sign for it.

He's dirt cheap and a good laugh!
