idle problems cbf250 wont tick over.....

after about 10-15mins of riding in top gear she wuould just about tick over and eventually when hot would tick over no problems.
i bought a fazer 600 recently and put the bike up for sale, knowing that i will have to mention it to the buyer as i had no cash to fix the problem.
in comes tony, a nice chat, first time rider and his father is a vet rider so there was a vast bit of knowledge in the car that day. he accepted the offer of 3300 and gave me 500 holding price on the condition that i get the idling looked at. i
i brought her in to ross cycles in cork and he had her for three days and said that the "threads or sumthing (can't remember)" were to tight so i needed replacing. got them replaced 300 total, he said that they should wear in about 200-300km and she will be fine.
tony picked up the bike a few mins ago and called me when he got home saying it will not start without the choke and wont tick over even after the 6 mile ride.
im worried that he mite throw the bike back in my face even tho the shop told me that she should be ok!!!
has anybody had this problem before and what can i do???
carbs wer cleaned too btw

Move it one way = more fuel for idle (faster tickover).
Move it the other way = less fuel for idle (slower tickover).
If that was the issue (which would be the first to check) it's a 1 minute job.
Maybe contact the garage and ask exactly what they did (adjust, fix, replace) etc. in case there was some other issue.

Maybe have your mechanic check the fuel air mix.
Just something to get you started, I'm sure someone else will be able to give you more advice.
