OEM Part numbers How to save money

Enter http://fiche.ronayers.com/
Even if ronayers are expensive - they will get you the oem part number for a large number of bikes.
Armed with the part number and your good friend google you'll get some good options on replacement parts if you simply enter the part number you need (or an aftermarket replacement).
So rather than putting a google search for 1997 srad mirror and getting a load of sihte back, putting in the oem part number alone brings back a different set of results.
NOW HERE IS THE BEST BIT !
Ronayres also has a reverse OEM part lookup.
When you have the part number put it in here http://fiche.ronayer...odule/WhereUsed
And the clever little people at ronayers will tell you what other models that part number was used on.
This will give you a much broader choice of bike bits to find using ebay or what ever.
Enjoy.
If you have any other bits of useful information please feel free to add to it.

Delboy has stickied this to the bike parts section.
I'd like a "compatible parts" section in the workshop. If anybody has thoughts on this this would be great.
