The Map Biker friendly cafes and shops

On the portal you will now see a map of Bike Shops
There is also a map of biker friendly cafes here
Sticky valve threw a comment up on the shout box about a shop not being on the map. So the question is how do you get a shop on the map?
Easy! You put it on. Anyone with a gmail account can edit the map. Actually you can edit either one of them. If you put up a pin for a cafe give a description, e.g. typoe of food, parking available, opening hours etc.
I will on occasion check the map for accuracy. It was with a certain amount of sadness that I recently had to remove a number of bike shops as they have closed down.
So keep the map up to date, add shops, add cafes just make sure you add them to the right map. You can change the icon that represents the Pin. I use a luggage icon for shops that sell bike gear only, e.g. Hein Gericke.
I also use the Motorbike symbol for outlets that are primarily service centres only.
So go now and update it. if you don't have a gmail account, simply send me the details (or Larry) and we will update it for you.

I've amended the map detail as everything has changed. Back to Ducati Dublin as opposed to Motopoint, phone number changed and most importantly location, well we knew that one.

Bump
Since the forum upgrade this has disappeared from the portal so I've put it here and stickied it to make it easier to find.
There's a lot of newbies who wouldn't have a clue about the places we are talking about , so this may make it easier.
Same rules apply - feel free to add as you want -
follow the link to the map - if you're not sure contact me and I will put them in.
Tip - take a picture of the place on your phone - upload to Panaramio and it will give you the location the pic was taken (in most cases)
