Those of you that know me are well aware that I have mechanical abilities similar to that of the average mountain goat. Due to this I'm not a strip a bike of it's bodywork and clean it person as there is a good chance stuff will start falling off pretty quickly.

Saw that the chaps from allyearbiker.co.uk were popping over and decided to drop in the wheels to get her cleaned and treated with this anti corrosion stuff. I watched the process from start to finish and I have to say that Roy and his colleague know their product and apply it with care and attention to detail. The bike even smelt new when they had finished with it. The only shame was having to ride it home (I'm sure big flies were committing suicide just to mess up the finish ).

I know that this isn't for everybody as a lot of you will enjoy doing this sort of thing yourself but for those out there like me it can give you a bit of an edge on the usually crappy weather.

Before I left they seemed to think they would be back in a couple of months should interest be sufficient. Anyhoo, just thought it may be of interest to some.

Aaah, Twas you Taking pics of the 2010 Race bike?

Well, not a literal race bike but something to do with a drag race in Cork??

In fairness, the bike would give him less grief than you do....why wouldn't he look after it more!!!!
