Ive been thinking for some time now that once herself outgrows the Vespa, the handiest thing to replace it with would be a DN-01

Plenty of grunt for her to cruise along with me on a trip, plenty of grunt for me to have some fun on from time to time

And then I saw this!!!

they certainly push the boundrais a bit! I don't mind them personally, and read a few good reviews about them. I wouldnt like to try and sell one on second hand though! As far as going from a scooter to one, they are automatic, but its a lot of bike too, heavy to manually manouvre?

Norrie has one, they're 1000cc of Twist and Go. Not so much a scooter as an Automatic motorbike I guess

Was told about this and thought "no way", but it looks ok. And those things can move well enough. If you can have a repsol scheme on a moped then why not on this?

Some say they have a face only a mother could love....

but (as usual with these things), you need to ride one before you judge it.
Remember - it's no more a sportsbike than a Harley is... so you can't
expect it to ride like one.
If you were expecting a scooter - you would be more than pleasantly surprised....
in fact, more like shocked. I know I was!
Very nippy - querky "Dan Dare" looks - good brakes - auto or manual gearbox and a really good V-twin engine.
Not everyones cup of tea... especially disguised as a fireblade!!!
Honda launched two of these futuristic bikes at the same time at the Milan show a few years ago.
They swore (despite many raised eyebrows) that they would be put into production.
This one made it - the world never saw the other one again after the show.
Honda UK have struggled with sales - and huge discounts are available.
It's different - and that's what makes it .. well... special!

Anything worth pointing out Norrie?
What do you think after having lived with it for a year?
