The numbers jump all the time and its reguaged hourly but right now its 57 members, 102 guests and a few anon members.

It seems to be the trend tho. The guests have twice the presence of the members, so its on the radar that the guests will help to pay for the running of the site too - and help with future upgrades....

Right now were not running ads (apart from the sponsor banners) so on some sites you randomly see ads in the middle of threads. We dont do that, yet twice our average viewers are taking our bandwidth.

Bandwidth is not an issue, but storage is, so we can offset the cost of that by exposing our viewers (guests - not registered members) to ads.

Guests* dont take up storage space, however we are nearing the limit of our current capacity in terms of storage. In order to progress to the next level it needs to be paid for.

Regarding my calling our viewers creeps, 99 people out of 100 wouldnt have taken that improperly.

Axe to grind? Hardly - you've made it clear that it's your ball, so it's your rules. No issue with that, if I had I can vote with my feet. Other members of longer standing have done just that.
Again, it's up to you what you call 'viewers' in order to encourage them to sign-up. Being one out of 100 doesn't really bother me either.

You just assumed I was That's too easy, you bite every time. In fact I was genuinely curious about how guests take up storage, and you've just confirmed that they don't.
