Aye. No real idear what the shopping thing is right now, just an option available to us with the software. I have a half arsed idea that we can sell stuff cheaper than somewhere else to add value for members. I dont know if its worth the hassle yet. It probably isn't.

There is an option for others to sell stuff thro it. Like Klu;s Glue shop, or Snoozez Boxes, or Tazzzies, taz's etc. etc. etc. Like a mini ebay, or pixmania, or any online shop I guess.
So for example, we have run monthly specials via a thread. No reason why we dont have a shop for specials, might get more exposure....

I have added a couple of things back into the portal, The weather station, and rainfall radar. Have to figure out the formatting, it aint pretty, but were getting there, at least I have a better understanding of how its all cobbled together now.

Hey Taz,

I logged into the portal page today and I can't see the "view new content" link to the top right - it appears to be hidden behind the calendar.

No problem, sez I, I'll just click into the forums tab and start from there.....but it's missing from there too?

Screen resolution is 1024 x768, running Windows Explorer 7 (in work so no other browser option!)

Tried changing my screen resolution but it didn't make any difference.

Similar. Txt is greyed out. On "mouse over" text dissapears.

Just an update - on my laptop at home (1280 x 800 resolution), and apart from the disappearing text which Fazerpete described, the layout is perfect! Using Internet Explorer 7

The disappearing "grey" text is a feature not a bug.

I understand the primary navigation bar is a pain for those people with small wangs*, I have an option there to move stuff about into a "menu" type system. But one thing at a time

I have finally understood how the stoopid banner thing works and have improved that yesterday.

I am messing about with the portal at present, adding an announcement block and will then have to recache the skins. I am hoping that this will resolve the "double entry" ( :eek:

ooo errr, missus) currently appearing and there is something funky going on with the youtube fullscreen within IBF bbcode tag things which I need to look at too.

*small wangs (and yes - Larry has already told me my wang looks manky - funny coz its true.....)

Mobile skin will be addressed in the future. Maybe. - But i think a login box shouldnt be to hard.
