Looking for something else, I came across this very small LED battery monitor, voltage and charge indicator. 5,8, or 10mm LED.
One on the way for me.

Dead handy, had one on a previous bike. I had heated grips,spot lights and a few other bits, the monitor was great to see how the battery was handling everything

Great find, just ordered one, Should give me a bit of warning next time the rectifier goes on the vfr.

Good find, thanks for the link. Just bought one but then ended up on a bit of a spending spree on e-bay. I just can't help myself when I go there.

Went for one of these from the same seller, easier for me to see in daylight, and has an on/off switch.

I finally got around to fitting this monitor yesterday. Put it in the dash just above clocks. Had to alter the bezel a little to suit the thickness of plastic.
Works perfectly.
I ride with 2 halogen fog lights on all the time, and this shows me exactly what engine speed corresponds to battery charging rather than this-charging.
