Last year we actively went looking for mods and were delighted with the response and the mods we got, however due to outside interests, time constraints etc. some mods were actually not able to continue in that capacity
This is not a critisism, far from it, they stood up to the ochy - it didnt work out and we're very grateful they tried indeed.
In previous years we asked for people to volunteer themselves as mods and there was a wonderful response. We did have a few mods who tried a little super hard I think thats fair to say - but as with all mods and members, it helps shape the place, and personally were in a decent state right now thanks to them.
In order to keep our decisions balanced, this year were again reaching out to the IBF biking community for volunteers.
If you consider IBF and its members and the greater biking community important, and consider IBF to be your "primary" forum, and largely agree with the Board Guidelines and you have the time and energy to spare and share, then it's your duty to put your name forward.
However, if your a moderator on another forum (biking or otherwise) or have previously have moderated on another biking forum you'll have to rule yourself out.
I reckon we need approx 6 people as this year we have different software which makes some processes easier, however, if you have a particular area of expertise you would like to engage in (the workshop / rideouts / rallies etc. etc) then please let us know.
You can respond in this thread, or PM to Sucati (thanks Ma
Thanks.
