The 2011 Rally was launched at the awards do in the Glasson Hotel last night by Gerry and Lorcan. The official entry form and points list is available on the rally site: http://www.irishphotorally.com

I couldn't find the bloody keys for the top-box. So I couldn't get to the footpump. Which I needed because there is a slow puncture in the front tyre.

Just in the door and poor Yogibear is giving the bikes a good wash, half of the bog was on them.

Another fantastic night out, well done Lorcan and Gerry. What a fantastic turn out for this annual event.

Sadly we had to abandon the 2 photorally points (No16 & No13) within 250 meters as the road conditions were more like a bog and since non of us had GS's we decided to try again when the weather improves and dries out a bit.

The website had this to say: "The last turn for Monaincha Abbey is along a narrow track and it may be better to walk the last 300 metres". :Chin scratch:

Just as well we didnt venture any further. :thumbsup:

Better not to risk unless you have the bike for it, as bad or worse than the old Penal Cross location was at the start of the event a few years back, wait a month or more for the place to dry out

Great weekend in Glasson even if the weather did not do us any favours again this year. Brilliant job as usual by Gerry, Lorcan and the crew, thanks to them all.
I'm putting together my plan for 2012 now we have the rally points. In the meantime, in response to widespread public demand here is my award-winning 2011 photo:
