Dont worry about it at all, seriously. Your bike is more than suitable for a trackday. There's guys racing ER6's.
Trackdays are the BEST THING EVER AND MOST FUN EVER, for me, scary is part of the fun and yes its good for day to day riding as you become more aware and more confident in riding your bike.
If ya want to do one just book in to the novice group, if you'd like help and a bit of coaching, my brother Mark is a marshall and just tell him i told ya to go to him, he'll be more than happy to help you out(he drives a well used black 2005 ZX636 you'll understand well used when ya see it!!!) , as will any of the marshall's will.
im sure the others will be along to back me up.
Eric

What Horsey said!
Have a look at the 'Stickies' above this thread as well. There's a links section to people's blogs and a useful bit on frequently asked questions!
Like Horsey said don't worry about your bike or what others are riding. I'm having fun on a stock RS125.
Let me know when you're going up and we'll have a chat.

It's the best fun you'll ever have on a bike no question and it's very addictive. You'll love it and you'll be a better rider because of it. On the day ask the marshalls to show you around and give you tips and just have fun. Very friendly atmosphere there too.
