Irelands 2 games so far have sucked the donkey balls really (except the 2nd half of the Ireland / France game - bet zOU was delighted !)

How do you rate Irelands chances ?

I reckon Quarter / Semi finals. Some of our guys are having their last world cup I reckon, they'll want to go our with a big bang...

Double hard bastards the lot of 'em. The new guys look like kids (hopefully "little" johnny sexton will be in there at some stage when ROG gets tired . Shame - but thats how its gonna be, and stringer is on his last I reckon - guy has the heart of a lion) I am really looking forward to it.

Thanks. No Idea, im in the US, can't watch any Net 2 stuff over here. Fox Soccer+ might show it though since they do Rugby.

Really waiting for this !! Unfortunately the time zone difference is going to be a nightmare and more unfortunately Italy is in the same group of Ireland.
Overall I rate Irish chance fairly....well can't be worst then last time for the boys in green

Looking forward to it meself Tazz. Reckon you're right about the Kidney fella playin' his cards close to his chest. The last two games were painful. No sense in picking up injuries for some of these lads though at this stage.
As for the Stringer lad. Holy foc.......the man is a bloody marvel. Just love seeing him play and the difference he makes to a team when he is playing is a joy to watch.
Bummer about the match times though. Heino at 6:30am just ain't the same

Ireland should be able to finish 2nd in the group so go through where they will most likely be put out by south Africa. Would like to see us beat the Aussies in the group so I can slag off the others at work but don't see it happening.

The Kenyans have fantastic long distance runners due to them living and training above sea level and that helps them run faster and longer. The south Americans have fantastic football players that find it easy to play football when its hotter than normal ALA USA world cup. The Finn's produce the best rally and F1 drivers due to them knowing how to drive in difficult conditions with no grip.
