I am coming up behind a back marker and I can see Andy Farrell ahead of him. I wait for the right moment and zip past the back marker.
Now Andy is in my sights.
I get close but he is taking some crazy lines, the safe line, the racing line and even the feckin' circus lion!
The track opens up and I pin it and I am past. Up ahead another back marker! He holds me up! I am so focused on the back marker I am oblivious to Andy who sneaks up on the inside and cuts in front of me.
Damn, he shuts the door!
Next the track opens up on to a the big straight and I take my chance and twist it wide open. I am past Andy again and this time he is eating my dust!!
That all sounds great except this was on the road from Skerries as we came home from the Killane Classic bike run.
.............and Andy was on a Yammy 90..................with his missus riding pillion!!
I think she was doing her nails. And I am pretty sure I heard her say, as I went past, in a rather disdainful tone "is that it?"
LMAO - good man Andy some craic! Hilarious watching you get the head down!!
