Sorry it took so long to get this update out. Firstly I just want to say thanks to all involved to help make the Casey Run 2011 a great success (even if it did rain all day!)

The total raised between the sign on, raffle, burgers, and sponsor cards was €5,185.00 . In the current environment where money is tight for everyone we were overwhelmed with this figure so WOW and thank you all!

We met with the guys who look after fundraising for Holles Street and presented them with the cheque. Needless to say we had very mixed emotions while we were there. We were very proud to donate the money in Casey's name on behalf of Biker.ie and the the Irish Biker Forum. The money raised will be used to buy a transport heart monitor which is used in ambulances when transporting a newborn to where they need to be. A plaque will be placed on the monitor with her name and a few words from her mum and dad. It's good to know she will be responsible for helping other little ones in difficult times.

Thanks again to everyone for your support and who knows we may look at organising another Casey Run fundraiser in 2012... we might even get a dry day
