Besides that, there was a ton of work needed doing. New belts fitted, new chain and sprockets, a new set of callipers fitter that I have had for some time, then some small stuff. So after getting a new job, I finally got the cash together to get some of the extra parts I needed and pay for the work to be done. So with a hand from our own Kickstarter I got the bike up to Bert. I was going to be heading off for Italy a week later so I told him no rush.
Through some skill and good tools Bert managed to get the spark plug out of the head without having to take it all apart and drill it out. So that saved a lot of time. The rear sprocket carrier however was not so easy. He tried a number of things but never got anywhere with it. In passing he mentioned drilling it off (I think he was joking) So I told him to do it, turns out he had no option but to do it. The hub once drilled, slipped off as it should have in the first place. All other work was carried out to his normal high standard. Over all, very satisfied with the work carried out. Top bloke and nice to deal with.
Its been 4 weeks since I got the bike back and 1,600+Miles put on her with out an issue
