Was looking at those r and g ones for the winter, they're meant to fit most bikes. Anybody use them?

I got a set of Dr.Bike heated grips off ebay earlier in the year when my old rotary controller finally gave up.
I can't say what the grips themselves are like, but the controller is a straight swap for the Oxford one, so I can only assume that the grips would be as good as the Oxfords

Law of Mechanical Repair - After your hands become coated with grease, your nose will begin to itch and you'll have to pee.

Sound for the advice lads, the brother popped his onto his bandit today and it all looked fairly simple alright like. I'll probably pick up a pair of the oxford ones down in lee for 85 quid or have a look at the ones in halfords, need to try and get um fitted by Friday for a bit of a spin up country so can't afford to hang around for them to come in the post.

had a slight problem in Portugal a few weeks ago with the 30 odd degrees heat the glue melted and the throttle grip moved as I accelerated the wire would hit off the brake pipe at the reservoir just had to twist it back once a day but found that the problem manifested itself to battery as ran flat when got home and discovered yesterday heated grips not working so assume short somewhere will have to investigate
