cheap tents still can't believe it

Just thought anyone interested in buying a new tent or even clever enough to have a spare one look out in Tesco for 4 man tent offer. Bought one this afternoon - €17! down from €70 - a bleedin bargain, oh how I love a bargain. its 2 skin as well. last weekend camped at Hook Head in our old eclipse 4 man tent; just the two of us mind you and there was plenty of space but thought this will come in handy if the kids want to come along. we dont want our little darlings being crushed by inebriated parents crashing on to them late at night. pal has a 2 man - too much of a squeeze if ya ask me.

3 man tent was still €60 curiously enough.

1500mm just checked my back up tent, have the 3 man and it did a great job the weekend

I have a two man Tesco job and yes it is as it says on the pack a tent. On the label it also says ideal for music festivals and camping. Well two out of three claims being about right ain't bad I suppose.

anyhows it says 1500mm with a sticker and I just peeled it back(this is getting very smutty) and low and behold it says 1200mm under it on the cardboard wrapper - so who do we believe - my kids because their it and they can tell me all about it when it rains when I put them out in it :wibble:

Think you need over 2000mm to hasten the influx of the rain we get here in Ireland, prob wont last too long, now I know what I went into Tesco's earlier to check out only forgetting what it was for as soon as I got there :unsure:
