Was out for a spin earlier today the wind wasn't to bad the roads had a lot of leafs and surface water.

Anyone driving should take it very handy

With all that howling wind last night, I had put wife on stand by to drop me to the station this morning. But this morning, the bike is dry, roads were dry, some gentle breeze, and an easy ride down the M1.

PS: I hope I don't jinx it by saying this, it might get worse in the evening.

Ditto. I was planning to take the car this morning but it was so nice that I cycled. Now I'm looking at the rain p155ing down and wondering about going home time. At least there is no wind, yet!

How did you get on?

I got home on the bike ok, steady 40-50 mph - not a comfortable spin. Poor visibility for me and other road users, cars weaving (including into the hard shoulder) and stopping unexpectedly, traffic driving too close together. Having said all that, I had bigger problems later on when I took the car out.
