Though blue lights on the public road on anything other than emergency vehicles and law enforcement is illegal
Vehicles using them as display lighting though not flashing are also illegal, as is the use of Green or Red lighting on the front of a vehicle
I have a red flashing light attached it my rear brakelights to reinforce the fact that I am using my brakes and that I may have a learner rider who may or may not slow without warning, so I can also use it to ask a tailgater to back off??

Checked out both links but can't find a ruling on Green Lighting on the front of a vehicle.

Restrictions on lighting-colour.
41. (1) (a) A vehicle shall not be equipped with lighting which when lit shows any light to the front of the vehicle except a white or yellow light.
(b) The provisions of paragraph (a) of this sub-article shall not apply as respects direction indicators.

I dunno if these lighting laws are enforced, e.g. all Hino trucks have had 3 green forward-facing lights on the roof of the cab for as long as I can remember, breaking at least two of the regulations.

Coolio. I have red strobes on the back plus green and white ones on the front. I use them for marshalling.
On the Garda bikesafe course we came upon a woman driver broken down on the bridge in Chapelizod. Both the Guard and I pushed the vehicle on to the path while leaving our bikes in the middle of the road with the disco lights flashing. When he saw them he just said they were neatly done.

Do a google search ... Emergency vehicle systems. They are based in the uk, excellent stuff but a bit expensive. For my set front and rear plus controller it was about €240
Here is mine. I've 2 on the front and 1 just over the license plate

Curious, why would you put blue flashing strobes on the front of your bike?
