- Is the Bulb rated with the same volts and amps as the other bulbs fitted. (Different amp bulbs will make a difference)
- Is it earthed properly.
- Is the battery charged up enough, as I've discovered a bulb kicking into life after a short run.
Not much info I know, but hope it helps.

Is it a normal bulb or an LED? Often LED types need additional components or a replacement flasher unit to function correctly.
If it's a normal type bulb, is the wattage of the new one the same as the old one? Both should probably be 21w if they're normal bulbs. Changing the wattage can impact the operation/flash-rate of your indicators.
If it's not lighting at all, is the new indicator blown/faulty? Try connecting it temporarily to the battery, does it light?

Or are you going to stick with the stock fittings?
tried the 21 w bulb in new fitting and seems to work all right
will see how the glued stock ones work out for now
awaiting a reply from seller about the new one supplied

bought smaller 12v 23w bulbs in bike world 5 euro for 4 not bad
so decided to e-mail supplier who sent me wrong indicator and ordered a match
sure enough a few weeks later indicator arrived opened packet and would you adam & eve it different type again
so I sent an email and balled your man out of it to which he replied send indies back dont want your custom
so duly posted them back got a refund and ordered a set from different suppliers and they arrived today fitted and working perfic

I wouldn't buy anything on the net. Nothing, every single time I've tried to purchase anything from the net it takes ages, ages and then some. Waiting for parts for my Harley has been the most frustrating process I've had to endure in a long time, siht it's worst than the HSE, the difference is the HSE don't ask for payment up front.
No I like to walk into a shop, talk to a person behind a counter and say things like have you got a whatever, pay me money and walk out with the item. Any problems with the items just walk back into the shop and talk to a person and the whole thing goes on like this. This whole ordering and waiting for the part for weeks only to discover that when it arrives it is the wrong one and it's sending it back, then waiting again, jeez me beard is getting so long waiting for it all.
Some big stores are at this crack as well, if you want a suite of furniture, you have to wait six weeks, jeez they must be making the fcuking things to order. Nah if I can't walk in the shop and buy it stick it in me van and go home with the item, then I just go somewhere I can get the service I want. If it costs a bit extra, then I'm prepared to pay that little bit more rather than wait for ages for anything, nothing in this world is worth waiting for. I don't join queues for anything, drives the wife nuts when I just walk out of the shop after leaving the goods down, siht my time is important to me and why waste it queing for some siht you probably don't need anyway and you really could do without it.
Told you it was a rant mate.
You did say it all "Bikeworld €4"
