So Laptop died recently, it won't boot up either on battery or mains, sent it off for repair and they said it is a battery problem, they said it works on mains with battery out and also works with a spare battery.

So I am gonna order a battery on eBay. There ar etwo options coming up on eBay, 10.8V 6cell 4400MA and 5200MA, how do I know which to go for?

Any advice appreciated.

Do ya know the rating of the original battery? Both of those batteries will probably work - the one with the higher rating will just last a wee bit longer. Might be worth doing a bit of research to confirm they'll both work with yer laptop. Also, check out the likes of 7dayshop to see what sort of prices they are charging for a suitable replacement...
