I've been asked to put some of my art stuff into an exhibition on the weekend of the 3rd/4th of Dec along with some other local painters. This would be my first and it’s all very exciting. I need to build some displays from timber which is not a problem but I need some lights and rather that going out and spending for what might be a one off event I thought I would beg the question.

Does anyone have a loan of display lights for a few days over that weekend? I need about eight or more. Of course I would look after them and replace any bulb(s) [

Don't have any lights that would suit unfortunately althought these did catch my eye in IKEA recently Clamp Spotlights. Not too expensive and you could re-use them at home. Just a suggestion in case you don't manage to borrow any. Best of look with the exhibition...it's about time you went public with your talent

I can't help with the lights Derek. I would love to go the your exhibition and have a look at your work. So you're going to have to tell us were it is so we can spin over and have a look. I'll be in town for the Christmas NOB so it would be nice to head up there first and then bring herself out for dinner before the NOB, it would all work well for me.

Every one else is welcome to join us, that's if you don't mind us old guys turning up to have a look.

That's funny because when I knew that it will be strangers looking at the stuff I did not care too much, now a whole lot of my friends showing up is another ball game :-) I'd love to see you guys there and they noise of your arrival.
