Guys / Gals.
I have a promotional interview on Monday.
I know (or think I know) that they are going to ask me why I want or deserve the job.
I know the usual answers:
I have a strong work ethic. I am a diligant and loyal employee. I enjoy the challanges presented to me. I have a proven track record of working successfully with a team and am self driven / self motivated. I WANT the promotion more than anyone else.
Blah blah blah.
Got any tips for me ?
What nailed it for you ?
Just picking yer brains.....
Thanks.
Tazzzie

Thanks everyone.
Update:
I did the interview, I was fairly well prepared I think, but the pressure did get to me a little and I fluffed a few lines.
Thankfully, the interviewers were very pleasant and gave me a lifeline a few times to sort of re-engage my brain / mouth synchronization.
It was something I hadnt done before but it was a great learning experience and reckon I'll do much better next time regardless the outcome of this one.
In terms of my self assessment of the interview, I give myself a score of 65 out of 100 for the interview. Not too bad, but not great, I was personally expecting 80 - 85. But meh.
I got a good positive reaction at the end of it - they all knew the score, they'd been there done that and stopped wearing the t-shirt some time ago.
At the end of the day its down to the work reports, and how I performed at the interview against the other candidates.
Should know the result by the end of the year.

You are probably being to hard on yourself.
Add 20 points for self doubt.
If you came on here and said you nailed it then I would say you were fcuked!
So I wouldn't write it off just yet!
