Not directly related to biking or bike shops , but i've bought plenty of biking items in Lidl and never had a problem , however 18mths ago I bought a circular saw which saw (sorry!) plenty of work but died suddenly. Warranty suggested 3 yrs so I dug out the receipt , phoned the local number in the instruction booklet, supplied my address , 2 days later I received a prepaid postage label , stuck this to the box , (doesn't have to be the original) posted , and a few days later received a new saw !
It was a €40 euro ITEM and I reckon i'd got value out of it already. It has to be the easiest warranty transaction I've ever completed. So just a reminder to hang on to those receipts!

Yep we had a similar experiance with them. It leaves you stunned with the ease of the whole transaction. A lot of places could learn from them.
Woman and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea
