So I seriously do not know if I am in the right spot for this...

I just got a job in the East Point Business Park, but the company I work for has no space available for me to park the bike, at all... not even with the bicycles and stuff...

Do any of you maybe work there and would know where I could park it ?

Hi Karine, there is a covered car park beside the supermarket in the centre of Eastpoint. It's under the tennis courts. There is a bike parking area down one end of it.

Covered Car park, and plenty of other areas to park too.

There are plenty of bikes so any of the bikers could advise you in the place.

Yeah see, I was told all the car-parking is privately rented by the different businesses and was told I wouldn't be able to park anywhere without a sticker thingy mac-giggy...

And is there not a barrier ? Do you work there Fr Dougal?

Used to work down there, the building I worked in was surrounded by parking spaces so just parked my bike in one, was never any problem.

Ah see where I am, they have a lottery for the car spaces... so yeah... and they wont let me park in their bicycle area... so right now i'm bussing into work, which is not nice...

Hi Karine my son works in the business park he said the bikers from there use the underground car park near the eircom building. Go in around the barrier and ride towards the exit barrier and you'll find the where the bikes are parked. He said that people who don't work for eircom do park there as they don't issue stickers for bikes. He also said that if you do use the car park ignore the who gather there, their harmless

And if you still have problems

you could lock it the rails in the Molloy and Sherry ard right up the top, there is a n access gate into East Point..or you can park it in my carpark on the start of the east wall road and walk (5-7 mins) to eastpoint

I used to work out their and still go out on the bike for meetings occasionally

There is an entrance and an exit, both with barriers but bikes can fit past the end of the barrier at the entrance. No stickers required for bikes. Walk through it when you are going to the Supermarket, you will see what I mean.

I used to work in that dump, probably the worst business park in the country? No parking as they made more money selling office space. However I am pretty sure you can squeeze in a bike somewhere.

I'll be taking the bike in tomorrow, hence reducing my commute from 90 minutes down to to 30...
