Started to Street fight my blade...


Put a Raptor 2 fairing on...wired the 35w lights to the original side light connector and left the 2 H7 connection's for a set of dominator lights.
Problem is the indo's only work when bike is at idle...cut out or wont work when rev's go up even slightly....bulbs dont blow either.




Also ive came to a stop a few times with the clutch pulled in and it keeps blowing the ignition fuse??


Any Ideas??

What i found this morning.......burned wires from the generator I think and the ignition module looks dodgy

Common problem with the early Blades,cut that block connector off and rewire it using the same gauge wire,stick a few bullet connectors on and a bit of solder on each one to keep it held in place .Check the rectifier,starter relay and earths for corrosion aswell

Whats the problem with the Ignitor,can't tell in the pic?!

Cool mate ill do that.. was looking at the Haynes manual, gave readings for the reg/rec check with the multi metre just wondering are these good reading or should I be looking somewhere else??

the ignitor was rewired at some stage...messy block connector just didnt seem right!!
