well i picked up a 1980 cb900f to do as a project. I got it off my brother who had swapped his vfr750 (non runner)
for a cb 900 engine for the cb750 chopper that i had "sold" him. Long story short the money was never forth coming
so i took it back, and he said i could take the 900 too telling me that it was in the frame with the rear swing arm.
I was going to go original with it but when i went to pick it up the previous owner had made a streetfighter out
of it.
so i decieded to go with this theme and make it the best it can be.
Total engine strip down and over haul. I still have the tank, side panel and tail piece from when i built the cb750 chop.
So far i have the engine apart and tonight i started a little work on the frame.
Going to put in new main bearings, big end bearings, cam chain slippers and piston rings.
Heres the pics so far............
