Thinking or getting a sports exauste for the gs ( I know I know it's not a sports bike ) anyone any ideas on a good one

BMW sell akropovics through the dealerships..

they sound great on em.

I have Beoulf cans on my GSX1400 and must tell they look and sound class

Take a look if they make some for your bike.

The Akra system for the Beemers is probably the best made IMO,sounds great and looks the biz.Remus do a decent pipe for them too

Is a new exauste just a bolt on job or does the engine have to be tuned or anything

Yup Akra then Remus would be best for the bike and that order also👍

I've a Remus hexacone with the sound baffle removed, on my GTR. Sounds great, lovely deep growl without it been to noisy. You dont want anything that sounds too loud or racy as it wouldn't go with the style of the bike

If it is just a case of the end can there's a good chance it will be a bolt on and job done but it depends on how high the flow rate of the pipe is.You may find it will develop a flat(lean) spot at a certain throttle position or in a certain rev range,if that's the case you need to adjust your fueling to suit.
