K is a 5, BZ (see above) is very much minus :thumbsfupped:

the Kiruna shows a good dip and the skies are clear with no pollution, aurora should be visible at higher latitudes, anyone seeing anything

Supermoon tomorrow night. Full moon will be at it's closest point to the earth for 2012.

Hopefully Bogman might be along shortly to explain it better than me.

just back from Norway (offshore) N/lights were mad for the last few weeks...being out offshore they look as if you can touch them, total darkness, you haven't seen black until you've seen the night up there.... looking forward now to catching the "midnight sun" over the next few months. We'er not allowed cameras but one of the engineers took some pics with the works camera and hopefully I'll get them next rotation...

Anyone up late tonight, an opportunity to see SpaceX Dragon with the Space Station ISS closeby preparing to dock

SpaceX @ 04.28 followed a minute or two later by the ISS at around 04.31
Not too high, max elevation 25 degrees, direction, from west to south and on to east, skies should be clear, ill be in the land of nod I guess but somebody might be awake
