Hello all,

Just signed up to site; wonder if you could give any advice?
There are about a dozen of us on bikes coming across from Newcastle upon Tyne on the Larne ferry for the Cookstown 100.
Can't find any links at all to accomodation. Is there anything that can be pre-booked?
Camping great, or bunkhouse even better!
Any other tips?

Myself and my son camped there last year, there is a field opposite the paddock, lots of camper vans belonging to marshals, friends of competitors etc. there is space at the top of the field for tents. A woman came around from the race organisers and asked us for £10, so good, on the downside it stays a bit noisy until about 2am, there are no toilet facilities or anything, but it is 10 yards from the pub,so u can throw some water on your face and hands, good grub in the pub as well, and lovely people in the field, 30 seconds and you're on the track. Get there on the Fri. I will be there myself..

That's very interesting Plato. Can you bring the bike up the field to park beside the tesnt or where can you leave the bike safely?

Aye Fergie, you can access the field from the road at the top of the field. Both the Breaside Pub and the adjoining shop do ace grub all weekend. Toying with the idea of heading up on the friday this time...me no likey 7am starts on raceday.


(noisey till 2am? that just a few of the 2 stroke club having a few bevies!)

Stayed there last year,found it good,Its right on the race track, about been noisy, I through that was Plato snoring, found the food in the pub very good, its across the road from the paddock so you can take a walk around the paddock and see all the bikes, hope to be there again this year,,,,,,,,,

sorry, been away, yip Fr, right outside the tent,chained to the fence if the chain is longish.....very safe
