I don't think its much, i know a few people who scraped cars here in Sligo and its usually about €100-€150. Depends on who you bring it to.

Cheers folks, that's the sort of figure I had in mind. The cage is going to cost 15 times that to keep on the road for another year and as I hardly drive twenty miles a week on average it looks like it's curtains for the old girl.
