Cheers for the heads up Ozzy. One of my favourite strips of tarmac. Any idea what they are doing? Hope they don't fcuk up the surface with a poorly re-instated patch job..

It looks like they're completing the job that was started last year - the re-construction was only done up to the Meath/Louth border (just past Dolly Mitchell's pub), this stretch is on the Louth side.
If they do as good a job on this bit as they did on the other bit, twill be a great stretch of road in March!! Just in time for Paddy's Day!

yes they were starting to do work from the pig Farm the other day just inside the louth border
