Thinking of getting a sumo

So after being convinced to get a supermoto for the summer, I was talking to someone and they told me they had a Yamaha DT 125 for sale.

Im 16 on prov A1 license with 1 year in May with my nsr 80.

Would I find it very difficult to get insurance on the dt since its 2 stroke? Or would i have to get it restricted? Im not sure of the power kilowatts on them but id guess they exceed already :unsure:

You should be OK, but its all down to the insurer and what they quote you.
The NSR is group 3, it depends on the DT as they are some up to group 6. There is a DT125 Trail that is group 3.
So find out what model of DT and what group its in.
