Yea I am very Happy to report that following an off on Sunday the 8th Jan; On our way home from Glencree,The Royal Star has been repaired and I am 90% ok, still have some chest pain but ok.Did a test run down to Wexford Yesterday all went great, Met Bosley just by chance had a nice chat.
The off was on the Millatary road on the way to Laragh, I tried to avoid a large pot hole, got a front wheele skid and down i went, under the bike skidding along the road and into the bog. If you have to have an off I highley reccomend bogland its messy but very soft :thumbsup:

I was blessed that Tony and Paul were behinde me the lifted the bike off me and got me out. The damage was very little considering,,,,
Spot lights fcuked, Indicator Fcuked, Screen Twisted, gear change lever and linkage bent,, Shark 400 helmet Fcuked, My watch fcuked,and the elbow of my coat sleeve Fcuked. At this point I just want to say that my booths, Knee pads, hip pads, Elbow pads and Helmet all came into play. The right gear will save you a lot of pain in the long run. My only injury was my Chest, It took the impact on the road. After a medical and x ray I was told I had torn the mussles in my left brest, I was more than happy with that, No broken ribs TG...The last time I had an off was 1972 at Brittas Bay,,,I hope its as long before another :cheers:
