Changed from Eircom to Vodafone bout 8 months ago.
Rarely if ever had a line drop with Eircom.
Net drops quite frequently now - started soon after changing over.
My incoming mail is the Eircom server.
Now I'm having probs logging into e-mail. I use Outlook.
I can log into work mail and with another eircom address.
Vodafone said that Eircom are blocking mail for people who transfer.
My mail is not blocked completely just from time to time I can't log on.
Anybody know anything about this. Please??????

Voda are lying to you. My son works for Eircom broadband customer support and hears this regularly, normally from a non Eircom customer who has been told this by their supplier.Eircom cannot block lines because your with a different supplier. If this was true the other suppliers could make a complaint to the regulator and Eircom would have been fined and the media would have reported it.
When MAG was in Inchicore we were with Imagine, the broadband went down and for 3 months I had to battle with them, went back to Eircom who fixed the line fault within days. Imagine hadn't even reported a line fault they ended up by saying that we needed a new modem! despite the fact I had tested the modem at home it worked I tested 2 other working modems in the office and they didn't
