Might need a regime change.
If you don't like what you see, get involved and change it !

We had a regime change and this lot are as closed mind to safety as the last lot!

Not all of them though, didn't a member from here get a point and a fine for using the bus lane in Galway a couple years ago?
Myself & an ER6 using the bus lane this morning, came round the corner to see a bike cop half hidden behind a hedge, he just acted like we weren't there and we continued to make safe progress to the top of a kilometre long queue of traffic, where, once the lights had turned green, we accelerated clear of traffic and proceeded on our way.
No babies cried, no nuns were offended, no one was delayed for even a single second more then if we hadn't been there.

And wasn't there a numpty in Rathmines who regularly did bikers in the bus lane out that way?
And if you are using it then don't exceed the speed limit. Just saying, that's all.
Not that you should be exceeding the speed limit anywhere
Had a unmarked traffic corp car come up behind me a few weeks ago. He flashed the blues at me!
He just wanted to get by and chase down the car up ahead of me!

Was this about 7 years ago? When the bridge at Portobello was being rebuilt.
One stopped me, across from the church, gave me a load of verbals about using the bus lane. Pulled me again about 2 days later, same thing.
Following week I'm again in the bus lane. Stopped at a red light before library I could see someone in long sleeve Hi-viz jacket standing at roadside across from church. "Not again", I thought to myself, " has this guy nothing better to be doing".
So I was forced to use the outside lane, jammed up as far as you could see.
Going slowly, using small gaps to overtake stopped cars I made my very slow way towards the bridge.
Got a clearer look at our friend in Hi-viz, not a cop, some sort of council worker leaning on an invisible brush.
Took my attention for a second. Next second I'm flying. Cager, fed up with oh so slow traffic, decides to do a U-turn without looking or indicating.
Woke to the sound of an ambulance, and my own little crowd.
I should have used the bike lane.

Yup, that's right. Got pulled by him along with 3 others at the bus lights past Terrenue College several years ago. He's disappeared/retired not long after that.
