Rear Pads

Changed the rear pads today. Got them at the right time I reckon'

I`'ve taken to recording what and when at how much for the past while, just to see whats goin on.
The pads I took off were from Honda shop in Dublin at €34.50 and steel backed, put on July '10 and 11,000 miles ago.
I replaced them with Kyoto at €11. Wonder how long they`ll last....

Had a new pad pin for the front until I found this waitng for me at the rear.

fair play, you were lucky, your piston calipers
must have been pushed all the way out

hate them grub screws that honda have
sometimes they get 'stuck' and then your fcuked

did ya change the fluid, while you where there ?

I was able to push out the piston another 10mm to clean all round.
I dab of copper grease and the pin lock bolt comes out easy, did have to drill one or two out though before.
Didn`t change the fluid, had no new bottle, will flush it out soon.
