[Magnets]

Hi all,

Down Syndrome Ireland, Cork Branch are moving premises this weekend and as such are looking for able bodied volunteers to give them a hand to load/unload a van.

The branch do fantastic work on the ground (as do our 25 branches) for our members on very limited funds so bringing in volunteers obviously allows them to stretch that little bit further.

Work kicks off at 10am with the move being from Centre Park Road to Kilnap Business Park, Blackpool.

If you can spare a few hours it would be much appreciated.

No worries. Even though I have PRC papers I'll not be going directly. I'll be using the old pig smuggling tracks via Kilkenny, Carrick-on-Suir and Dungarvan. I'll stop in Youghal to change some money. It'll be so much easier when Cork signs up to the Euro.

much prefer to do this , will chat to that Julie and see if there's other stuff i can help with as i do have a fair bit of time off, any langer can salve his concience with a few bob... heavy lift is more satisfying.

Good on you Andy as you rightly say its not always about money, a lot of the rev up crew donate their time and expertise to DSI which saves funds

nothing to do with favours, glad to do something positive....and i also got to re-teach Sirius some of his native language(Corkonian-to ye heathens), he's gone downhill since he emmigrated, learning all foreign speak..............the shame of it
