I have an appointment tomorrow in hospital being the scatter brain I am i forgot to ring and confirm i will be attending the appointment it kind of important it is to rule out possible cancer so if you work in a hospital can you tell me if you dont ring to confirm do you lose your appointment.

I assumed that you call if you cannot make appointment only

dont quote me but we always just turn up. my son has to be screened every 3 months for same thing and we never ring to confirm.

any letter i got, only said
you'd only ring to say you can't attend

so just turn up in plenty of time
as, first in first served

your name is jotted down on a list
and regardless of what time your appointment is
its who ever comes first normally gets done first

if its the regional then there usually isn't any need to ring and confirm

if its barringtons they usually take that you asked for an appointment means you are going to attend


in any case if they did require a confirmation call, just play dumb and you will be fine

I hope it works out for you today fitty. I had a similar scare years ago when the kids were small and got very depressed for a few months afterwards, although I didn't know what depression was. It was like going around with a fuzzy head all the time. I kinda snapped out of it when I had a long chat with someone I hadn't met in almost a year who helped me put things into perspective. Whatever way it goes I think that it's important to talk about these things and not keep them bottled up.

Working in a cancer hospital. No you will not lose your appointment if you don't ring. Booking office do not expect someone to ring unless they need to change an appointment.

Got the all clear yesterday thank god the woman that went in before me was not so lucky both have similar symptoms i got all clear she got bad news nice lady i hope it can be gotten in time
