Fantastic looking machine., you've done a great job on it. Pity you dinged it but I suppose you'd be bored without something to work on.
Any judgement on what caused the crash?

yeah... hopefully wont be too bad. my leg wont let me kick it over to see if it runs , im presuming it should no petrol, oil or any other fluids bleeding from it. one of the front forks is like a banana so they will have to be replaced.. that to my untrained eye is the only major bit of work that ill need help with.. other than that footpeg, rear brake pedal to be replaced/reattached.. petrol tank to be filled and painted.. a good few scuffs to dremel..
and last but not least the reason behind the goddamn incident in the first place.. my shoulder is still pretty tender as is my back,i put at least some of that down to picking the bike up and hauling it to the side of the road cosidering the bike was in gear and front wheel was jammed..the bike is smallish but theres nothing light about the frame/engine.. i can't go at the thing id say until at least next week..
its funny how you dont realise how often your "just about to walk" 11 month old climbs up your leg until it has a nice slice of skin peeled off it (the leg that is!!)...

Front forks look standard Z750 equip there J, Stanchion won't cost a fortune to replace. I'll rebuild them for you if you like.

John Shanahan told me he had the machinery for straigtening forks. However I haven't tested him on it so I don't know how good bad or indifferent the job would be.
